My bf and I decided to expand our family and adopt one more kitten. Her name is Coco and she makes three ... do you love her or what?!
We were a little worried about making the jump from two cats to three. Our main concern was making sure that all three cats got along. It took a few weeks for everyone to adjust, but Coco has settled into out family life. We love having all three kitties, even if we seem nuts!
If you are entertaining the idea of adding a third kitten to your home you must be dying to know what changes we've experienced with the addition of a third kitty.
<drum roll>
<drum roll>
- (+) Coco has awakened the dormant kitten inside of her overweight, big brother Roux. Because of Coco, Roux is much more playful and active.
- (-) Litter boxes fill up much, much faster.
- (+/-) With two cats, you see your cats when you see your cats. With three cats, where ever you turn you see a cat!
- (+/-) We had to switch Coco to adult food prematurely, since her adult big brother was the only cat eating the the kitten food.
- (+) One more kitty that might be in the mood to cuddle!
All in all, three cats is wonderful ... if you think you can handle it, I say go for it!
